2022 Season

While this program is different from previous years, the mission, the passion and the commitment to ensure your child (and possibly you!) have a safe, fun and memorable experience remains.

That’s right, for 2022 we will offer parents the opportunity to be in a group lesson! If you’re driving them up, you might as well learn with them! (*Note: no guarantee you will be in the same class.)

Same team. Same location.

Basic details:

  1. Drive up program
    • You will transport your child/children to the mountain and check in at our lodge on the mountain.
      • Tip! Arrive early to ensure you get a parking spot. Click here to view where to park and how to access the SSNW lodge.
    • We will have Issaquah Ski & Snowboard School volunteers to greet you and available to answer any questions you have at the mountain.
    • You will pick up your child at the lodge at the end of their lesson.
  2. 8 Saturdays of group lessons starting January 8th: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm (3 hours of instruction)
  3. $550 per student for group ski or snowboard lessons
  4. We strictly follow COVID-19 protocols
    • All volunteers are vaccinated
    • SnowSports Northwest private lodge is available for bathroom use (cleaned regularly by a volunteer)
    • Mask requirements and other protocols will follow Summit at Snoqualmie and government guidance
  5. In case of injury:
    • Our volunteers will follow the standard processes.
    • We will use Summit at Snoqualmie Ski Patrol where appropriate.
    • If a child requires parent notification, a volunteer with the Issaquah Ski and Snowboard School will contact you via a phone call. (*It is required that you remain within the Summit at Snoqualmie area.)
  6. Progress reports: These will be provided at the end of the season with instructor comments and a recommendation for future progress.
  7. Food: It is suggested your child packs a snack that they can easily carry in their jacket and consume on the mountain. While we will not have any scheduled snack/meal breaks, opportunities may arise for a quick snack.
  8. Equipment: All students will need to have their equipment and gear at the time of checking into their lesson.
  9. Lift Tickets/Season Pass: All students will need to have a lift ticket or season pass when checking into their lesson.

We are so excited to be back on the mountain and welcome your kids (and possibly you!) to the amazing sport of skiing and snowboarding. It has been a long…a very long couple years!

Thank you for being interested and thank you for being part of our Issaquah Ski & Snowboard community.
